In June 2007, our house was damaged by a thunderstorm with golf ball size hail. We initially began work with our insurance company to get the roof and siding replaced until the insurance company made a determination to patch our roof and siding which we were not in agreement with when another residence near us with the same insurance company was receiving an entire house replacement.
We then spoke with the neighbor who was getting an entire house replacement through our same insurance company and learned that the neighbor was working with ARC. We contacted ARC and explained the situation and Dan Dye was out that afternoon to begin working on our situation. He collected our insurance information and began work immediately with the insurance company.
Since the insurance company had already made its determination about our house, it was not an easy task to change their determination, but Dan was persistent. After some hard weeks of convincing the insurance company with evidence that our house needed full roof and siding replacement, the insurance company changed its determination. We were then immediately notified of the change and began the process towards replacement.
We made our shingle and siding selections and in less than a week, ARC was ready to begin replacement. The crews that worked on the house replacement were very professional, timely, and extremely clean. We have been extremely satisfied with the work of ARC and have had no problems unlike neighbors who have had siding come off since replacement.
Additionally, we had problems with our mortgage company dispersing our insurance funds towards the replacement of the roof and siding, but Heidi Dye put in many hours trying to get the mortgage company to release funds.
